LALAFOX Honey Nourishing Sheet Mask Review

I recently tried a LALAFOX Honey Nourishing Sheet Mask. I received one of these in my last Walmart Beauty Box (Summer 2018). You can read my post about the box if you like. If you are interested in the WBB, I will leave some information about it at the bottom of this post. There are a few other kinds of LALAFOX masks too like Charcoal, Pearl and Milk. I have used the Milk one before too and I really liked that one too.

LALAFOX Honey Nourishing Sheet Mask

I love facial masks but I don’t use sheet masks very often because I have a hard time applying them to my face sometimes so I normally don’t use them. I was excited to try this one out though because I have never tried it before. Although I did try the Milk one once.

Anyway, when you open it up, the sheet mask is folded inside the pouch. There is a facial honey serum inside the pouch too and the mask is completely saturated in it. Front and back of it (it is folded up in there after all).

Removing the mask from the pouch

When I first removed the mask I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to unfold it because it was so saturated. I was able to though. The serum is kind of sticky but not sticky in the way like honey is. It’s kind of thick and slippery too. I almost dropped my mask a few times. But I was able to get it all unfolded without tearing it. It’s actually pretty strong and won’t tear easily. I even tried after I removed it just for the sake of my review. Not easy to tear.

Applying the mask

Having only used sheet masks a few times in my life, I am by no means an expert. I basically held the mask in front of my face and slowly placed it on after lining the eyes, nose and mouth holes. It was pretty easy. After that all I had to do was to adjust it a bit. I think the fact that it was so saturated made it easy to stick to my face so easily.

Before applying the mask though, you can set aside the mask and apply more of the serum to your face first. There is plenty in the pouch to do so and it might even make the mask easier to apply.

Finishing up

Directions say to keep the mask on for 10 to 20 minutes. I left mine on for the whole 20. After removing the mask, all you need to do is pat the serum into your skin and let it absorb into your skin.

Final Thoughts…

Overall I really liked this mask for rarely using sheet masks before. It was easier to apply than I expected. I did have a problem with the mask sliding though and I would have to adjust every so often during the 20 minutes I had it on my face though. But it did smooth over my face well and the eyes, nose, and mouth holes didn’t bother me much. Well, the mouth hole was a little weird but it worked. Overall it fit my face well.

I love the light scent of honey. It’s not a strong scent which is good for me because I don’t know if I could take a strong scent on my face like that. It was very relaxing and soothing to my skin. I go through phases of having dry skin on my face. It’s that time of year when I my face dries out more often. This mask was very welcoming!

I loved how it felt on my skin. Afterward my skin felt so soft, smooth and very hydrated. And that was just after one mask! I would probably use this one again. Have you used this mask before?

Buy It: You can get these at Walmart for $2.00 each. You can buy them as singles. I am pretty sure you can buy them in packs too.

A little info if you are not a WBB subscriber

I have been getting the Walmart Beauty Box for a long time now. It’s a subscription but it’s not every month. It’s only every three months or once per season. There’s a box filled with samples and sometime full size products that kind of go along with the season. It’s only $5 per box (that’s including shipping). You can choose Trendsetter, Classic or Natural (I believe, it’s been a while since I signed up) and you can also fill in your own beauty profile.

From what I have seen, a lot of the samples and products are similar in all boxes but some boxes do include different products from others. You can read more about how it works HERE. You can also check out my previous posts about this box HERE as well. If you would like a direct link to sign up, sign up at Walmart Beauty Box by using that link.
