Squish’Ums Yummy Series Series 2 Review (Squishy toys from Bulls i Toy)

*I received product mentioned in this post for free in exchange for my review and feedback. All opinions are 100% my own.*

Squish’Ums Yummy Series are super cute yummy squishy toys. They are toys so no matter how yummy they look, they are not for eating (insert smiley grin here). Squish’Ums are slow rise foam toys from Bulls i Toy. They have other series as well such as skulls and pets along with the Yummy Series Squish’Ums. The skulls and pets are pretty cute too. We also have some of them. These are really fun to play with. I am not sure what it is about squishy toys but I love them just as much as my kids do.

Blind Toys

Part of the fun of these is that they are blind toys. That’s what my kids call them. You have no idea what you are getting until you open the package. Isn’t the packaging cute?! They come in a truck shaped package that resembles a treat truck. Adorable huh? Anyway, inside you will find a Squish’Ums toy and a little check list. That way you can see the name of the treat you got along with a list of the rest of the series. That way you also know what you are missing if you are trying to collect them all.

The Yummy Treats

There are a total of 16 Yummies to collect. There are four different cupcakes, four different donuts, four different cool treats, and four different ice cream cones. The cool treats are shaped like ice cream pops or ice cream bars. Each treat also has somewhat of a name too. We got a purple cool treat called Grape Escape. We also got two ice cream cones. One is purple and white swirled with a chocolate colored cone. That one is Choco-Berry Twist. The other is a yellow and white swirled cone with a regular cone. I do not know what this one is though because for some reason it is not on the checklist. Maybe it was actually a series 1 and not a series 2. I don’t know but either way, it’s still really cute!

Fun to squish!

These are really fun to squish. The ice cream cones are more fun to squish in my opinion only because the cool treat ones are a bit thinner. I mean, overall they are all about the same size. It’s just the shape of them that makes the ice cream cones more fun to squish. They don’t crack or anything, the outer coating is pretty flexible so they don;t crack or peel. Which is great because my kids have other foam toys (generally speaking) that don’t tend to last very long. The colors may fade over time though but that’s to be expected if they are played with a lot. I have one of the skulls sitting on my desk. I am constantly picking it up and messing with it. Over months of constantly playing with it, it has started to fade but not a whole lot.

Mini Lanyard

Like the pets, the Yummy toys have a mini lanyard on them. They are clipped on with a metal clip. You can take the lanyard off and then loop it through itself onto things like bags and backpacks. Then you can clip the Yummy toy back on. My daughter likes to put them on her backpack or other bags that she carries with her. I think she even has one of them on her key ring.

Fun to Collect!

My daughter is on a mission to find more of the series!

Final Thoughts…

These Squish’Ums Yummy series toys are really cute. Absolutely adorable! What do you think? I love the slow rise foam. There is something euphoric about playing with these. My daughter loves to collect them and loves the fact that she can clip them to her bags and what-not. They do have a scent to them too but it’s not an overpowering or strong smell. They have a light sweet scent to them. The scent is the same for all of them though. I was kind of hoping each one would have their own scent. But it’s all good though, we love them anyway!
