The Bellies Baby Dolls are really cute! These dolls are from [email protected] and there are 6 dolls to choose from. There is even a set of twins! Each one has their own personality too. There are many ways you can play with them and they also come with their own surprises. Each doll comes complete with a baby bottle, pacifier, and an adorable blanket that matches their own personality.
Meet the Twins!
The Belly Twins, Mimi Miao (pronounced meow) and Willy Woof loves to imitate animal sounds to drive the people of Bellyville crazy! My daughter just adores these two. I love Mimi’s little tuft of hair. Willy’s little cap can also be removed. Their blankets are matching. Because they are twins of course! While Mimi loves kitties, Willy loves puppies.
Listen to their heartbeat!
When you first take them out of their packaging, you will need to remove their belly cord. Once you do that, you will hear their heartbeat and you will also see a red light as well. Soon they will begin to babble, say their name and the twins will even make kitty or puppy sounds. Other dolls will babble in other ways.
My daughter loves that these dolls’ arms and legs are articulated. This means they can easily sit or lay down. Their arms not only move up and down, they can also move inward and outward. This makes changing diapers easy.
I love the pacifier. It’s actually magnetic so it’s really easy to give your Belly Baby his or her pacifier which is great for younger kids. The bottle doesn’t do anything special just in case you are wondering.
The Bellies Baby Dolls have birthmarks! Yes, each baby doll has one. Mimi Miao has a little pink one while Willy Woof has a little blue one. The twins have their birthmarks in the same spot. I don’t know if the other babies have them in different places.
When you first get your Bellies Baby out, you can check his or her diaper. You will have a surprise poo inside. Each poo means something else so you can check the “Poopypedia” that comes with your baby doll. There is a Green Po Poo which means a runny nose. Another example is Pim Pam Poo which means too much milk. They also come with a sticker sheet so if you want, you can always switch out the poo. There are some other stickers too such as safety pin stickers which my daughter placed on the front of the diaper after closing it back up.
There are other accessories you can buy separately for The Bellies Baby Dolls like the Emergency Belly Kit. It comes with vitamins, mucus sucker, Bellies baby food, and really cute bandage strips.
Aren’t they adorable?! They are recommended for ages 2-3 years and older. My daughter is older and still hasn’t grown out of dolls and toys. However, she is on the Autism spectrum and still loves playing with toys and baby dolls. I think these are perfect for younger kiddos that love dolls too. These are fun for imaginative play and did I mention adorable?
We love The Bellies Baby Dolls! My daughter has them on her bookshelf with her other dolls she likes to collect and play with. They are easy to turn on and off (by simply pressing their belly button) for younger kids. They also have an automatic shutoff. That way, if your child forgets to turn it off, the baby will go into “sleep mode”. They aren’t really loud either which is also a bonus for us parents! I just can’t get over their adorable babble!
