Spongebob Squarepants Candy Dispensers from Radz Review

Spongebob Squarepants Candy Dispensers

These Spongebob Squarepants Candy Dispensers from Radz are fun to collect. I don’t know about your kiddo, but mine loves Spongebob. There are a couple reasons why these candy dispensers are fun. First of all, they are fun to collect. Second of all, it’s a surprise to which one you are going to get. Lastly, these dispensers can be played with in a few ways as well. They don’t have to just be candy dispensers. To read more of my Radz reviews, check them out HERE.

Spongebob Radz Twists

There are a couple different types of Spongebob Squarepants Candy Dispensers. With Radz, there are Twists and Foamz dispensers. I will start with the Radz Twists. In each package, you get a Twist Dispenser character, a mini poster and a bag of candy. There are four different ones including to versions of Spongebob. The other characters you can collect are Patrick Star and Squidward.

When it comes to Spongebob, you can find a Spongebob with glasses or another without glasses. One of them is a special edition but I can’t remember which one is which. Either way, my son has a couple of each.

Filling the Candy

The Radz Twists are pretty self explanatory. You simply twist off the top half. The bottom half is where you can fill the candy. Just slide open the candy container and there you go. I am pretty appreciative that the slider clicks in place too so that it just doesn’t slide open on it’s own. You can usually fill these twice with the candy provided.

Mix and Match

My son has a pretty good collection of these Radz Twists. Not only does he have a bunch of these Spongebob Squarepants Candy Dispensers, he also has a lot of other characters too. The fun thing about these Twists, is that you can mix and match the tops and bottoms.

Mix and Match with other characters too! He still has some Paw Patrol ones from when he first started collecting them. He also has some Secret Life of Pets and Trolls as well. My older son has some Five Nights at Freddy’s and DC Hero ones.

Spongebob Radz Foamz

The Spongebob Radz Foamz are a lot of fun too. Each one comes with a Foamz character dispenser and in addition, you will also find a mini poster and candy just like the Twists. These are called Foamz for a reason. The reason being, it that these dispensers are squishy! So of course these are a lot of fun even without the candy.

There are three different characters you can collect. You can collect Spongebob of course, but you can also collect Squidward and Patrick. However, there are two versions of Patrick, and two versions of Spongebob.

These are the two versions of Spongebob and Patrick. So for Spongebob, we have an opened mouth smile and a closed mouth smile. With Patrick, we have one with a smile and one where it looks like he is whistling.

Filling the Candy

Again, this is pretty self explanatory. At the bottom, you will see the candy holder opening. Pop open the lid and fill with candy. Like the Twists, you can usually fill these twice as well. The lid on the candy container stays closed really well too which is a good thing if you clip one of these to your bag or belt loop like my son like to do.

Ways to Play

First of all, who doesn’t like squishy toys? I like them myself because squishy toys can be stress relieving. You can also remove the candy canister from them and use them as finger puppets. They are even more squishy if you remove the canister. Of course they can be clipped to things too since these come with a clip attached to them.

Final Thoughts…

Again, they are fun to collect. My son has a pretty big collection of them and likes to mix and match the Twists with other characters. His favorites are the Foamz though. The candy is also pretty good. The flavors always have some fun name to them. They have a sweet coating but they are also kind of tangy. These pieces are pretty small though so they are recommended for ages 3 years and older.

Buy It: You can find these at stores like Target and Walmart including other characters for $3 to $4 each. These would also be fun to stuff in an Easter basket!
