They do the job really well and the knives stay sharp for quite a while. The chef knife allows you to finish the larger chopping jobs in your kitchen while the utility knife which is really great for slicing cheese. In addition, you also have the paring knife for those smaller jobs. Lastly, I love that this set comes with knife sheaths. Because of that, they can be stored away more safely.
