The Modarri Ultimate Toy Car is really awesome! Because they can be built and customized, my son absolutely loves them! We recently received a deluxe set which allows him to build his car in quite a few different ways. Each Modarri Ultimate Toy Car comes with everything you need to build your car. I see myself purchasing more of these in the near future. Cars can be mix and matched with any Modarri parts so the customizing can be pretty endless!
Modarri Deluxe S2 Muscle Car
When our Modarri Ultimate Toy Car arrived, my son couldn’t wait to get it out. The Modarri Deluxe S2 Muscle Car comes with extra parts so you can mix and match to customize right out of the box. There are 5 or 6 ways this car can be built. The parts also happened to be some of my son’s favorite colors. A bright green and a bright blue!
The parts include a car frame which is what you start with. There are also 2 green parts and 2 blue parts that make up the body and the top of the car. In addition, there is also a metal that goes on the top of the car. This is the only part that is made of metal. All the other parts are made from a pretty durable hard plastic material. There are also two sets of wheels. My son thought the wheel assembly is pretty cool because you can see the springs for the shocks on both the front and back wheel assemblies. The car also came with a special screwdriver so you can put all the parts together or take them apart.
Never lose the screws!
All the parts need to be put together with screws. And the screws are really small. You are probably thinking, “My kid would probably lose them all in like a minute.” I thought the same thing actually. But here’s the genius part about these cars. If you notice in the above images, you might be able to see that little yellow disc that is on each screw. These discs actually keep the screws from coming completely out or off the parts! No need to worry about ever losing those screws!
Building your car
To build your Modarri Ultimate Toy Car, you start with the car frame. Using the screwdriver that came with the set, you put on the wheel assembly on the front and on the back. According to my son, the front and the back are slightly different. The front wheel assembly actually allows the tires to be able to turn when you push it across the tabletop or floor.
Once he got his wheels on, he chose which parts he wanted to use for his car. He took it apart and re-built it multiple times in many different ways. He had a completely green and back car, a completely blue and black car, or a green car with blue hood, or a blue car with green hood.
One time he built it, he left off the top that has a car hood and just added the black part. That way the “engine” was visible. See? Tons of different ways to build your Modarri Ultimate Toy Car! My son says they are really easy to build. Just line up the parts as you put each one on and tighten the screws to hold it each part together. Each part has different screws that need tightened down too which is another reason why he loves them!
My son loves them! He really enjoys taking them apart and building a new car. So far he just has this one set and it keeps him busy for a while. I like them because play can be endless with them. My son has always loved toys that can be taken apart and re-built because he likes to know how things are put together and how they work. I think it also let them get creative. In addition, they are great for motor skills as well.
You can buy the Modarri Ultimate Toy Car deluxe set ($24.99) on the Modarri website. You can also find them at stores like Walmart and you can get them on Amazon as well. If you buy on the Modarri website, they are offering free shipping on orders over $35. They do have an alert in their online shop that shipping may be delayed due to the Corona Virus and actually suggest purchasing their toys on Amazon because they may ship faster.
Age recommendations are 6 years and older but they do have cars for 3 years and older as well! I love the selection they have, there are a lot of different car types you can buy including track sets!
